Wildlife Cruise on Monterey Bay
Galapagos Islands Natural History Cruise These islands are truly a world apart. One of the last places on earth where humanity has not yet left a noticeable mark and the animals regard us as a curiosity. Located on the Equator, we spend 11 days aboard our small, 16 passenger ship, motoring to over twelve islands and making numerous stops. Greg has made eight trips to the islands over the years and is an experienced island naturalist. In addition we also use a licensed Ecuadorian guide. Together, these things make this trip one of the greatest wildlife and travel experiences of the world! Next Trip: January 2007
The Spring Migration of the Gray Whales Every year, thousands of whales pass the Central Coast on their way north to the rich feeding grounds of Alaska. Leaving Santa Cruz aboard our chartered boat, we head out into the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary to see the marine wildlife and have an ocean experience. Join us for a day on the bay!
Offshore to the Farallon Islands Sitting just 26 miles west of Half Moon Bay, the Farallon Islands are a marine treasure. Heading out of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary aboard our chartered boat, we cross to the islands in the early morning hours. We time our trip to coincide with the end of the seabird nesting season and the beginning of the spring upwelling when whales return to feed. That way, we nearly always see puffins and humpback whales on the same day!
